I'm committed to making this site the most useful resource it can be for all wildland firefighters. That means bringing in outside voices to tell their stories so it’s not only my wildland fire experience reflected here. I’m creating a vast collection of wildland fire stories from as many firefighters as possible.

I want to hear from wildland firefighters of all types: crew, engine, hotshot, helitack, rappeler, smokejumper, fuels, dispatch, warehouse, all the jobs. If this is your second fire season or 27th please share your story so we can all learn from each other and show aspiring firefighters someone who’s like them working in wildland fire.
